Terms of Use

N-glish AI is operated by an individual sole proprietor ("N-glish AI", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using N-glish AI (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

N-glish AI lets you practice spoken English by having voice conversations with an AI conversation partner. Your voice is recorded, transcribed, and responded to using third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy.

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country of residence if higher, to use the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to transmit unlawful, abusive, or harmful content, to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service, or to use the Service in a way that could cause it to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal output.

We offer a limited free trial (20 minutes of conversation, no payment method required). Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis and grant a fixed monthly allowance of conversation minutes as displayed at checkout — paid plans are not unlimited and unused minutes do not roll over to the next billing period.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable sales tax/VAT, and invoicing. Your payment information is provided directly to Paddle and is subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, which opens Paddle's customer portal.

The free trial requires no payment method, so it carries no charge to refund. For the paid monthly plan, all sales are final once your billing period starts and your monthly minute allowance is granted: we do not offer refunds or credits for partial use, unused minutes, or change of mind.

Where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a right to withdraw from or cancel a purchase of digital content (for example, a statutory withdrawal period for consumers in the EU/UK), that right applies to the extent required by law and is not excluded by this Policy. By starting a conversation under a paid plan, you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate access to the Service and, to the extent permitted by your local law, that any applicable withdrawal right may be lost once the Service has been used.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period. Refund requests arising from billing errors or duplicate charges are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@n-glish.com.

When you record a message, third-party AI providers process your voice and the conversation text to generate the AI's reply. See our Privacy Policy for details on retention and the third parties involved.

We own the Service, its software, and branding. You retain rights to the content of your own messages, and grant us a license to process that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated replies may be inaccurate or unsuitable for any particular purpose and should not be relied on as professional or certified language instruction. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which N-glish AI's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection law that applies in your country of residence and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
